This is a series of black and white digital photography working with art iconography and relatives to make a personal statement about being different. These artworks represent the feelings of isolation and self-doubt people have because of their "different from the norm" views and beliefs, on concepts like religion, faith, sexuality, economics, and politics. The images were selected based on my ongoing process of self-discovery and acceptance of being non-confirmative in a norm-driven society. Every one of them represents an internal argument I have to establish to break the box where I can’t fit and build an open space to spread my thoughts and feelings.
